THE OPENING treats the information you submit with care, in a human and professional way. This site does not use advertising cookies or personal profiling technologies. This page explains what we may receive, how we use it, and how to exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
THE OPENING is an independent strategic practice operated by Leandro Delmonte and based in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.

Information we may receive
Contact data
When you send a message, submit a form, or email us, we may receive your name, email, company or project, city or market, and any information you choose to include in the message.
Project context
If a conversation moves forward, we may keep operational notes about the opening: timing, estimated scope, involved contacts, and cultural references. These notes remain private and are used only to evaluate the possible collaboration.
Form processing
When you submit the First Move form, the information you provide is processed through Web3Forms, an external form-delivery provider that transmits it to our email inbox. Web3Forms and its infrastructure providers may process form data and certain technical information to deliver the message, operate the service, and prevent abuse. Processing and retention by that provider are governed by its current terms and privacy policy.
Site measurement
This site does not use advertising cookies, advertising pixels, advertising identifiers, or personal profiling. Cloudflare provides delivery and security infrastructure and may process technical information needed to operate and protect the site. If Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, it is used to understand aggregated traffic and performance signals without building personal advertising profiles.
How the information is used
Information received is used only to:
- Respond to messages and conversations initiated by the user.
- Evaluate project, partnership, or collaboration opportunities.
- Keep a minimal operational record of communications.
- Improve the site, its content, and its navigation.
Your rights
Under Argentina Personal Data Protection Law No. 25.326, you may request access, rectification, updating, or deletion of your personal data, when applicable.
- Access: know what personal information we hold about you.
- Rectification or updating: request that inaccurate or outdated information be corrected.
- Deletion: request deletion when the information is no longer necessary or when deletion otherwise applies.

Retention and security
THE OPENING keeps inquiries only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain an active professional relationship, preserve essential communication records, or meet applicable legal obligations. External providers may retain information according to their own current terms and retention policies. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
No internet transmission system is completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information such as financial data, credentials, or confidential documents through unencrypted channels.
Visitors outside Argentina
Information may be processed in Argentina and by technology providers operating in other jurisdictions. When external services are used, their processing is also governed by their current privacy and data-processing terms.
